Salmon With Brown Sugar Pecan Glaze Recipe

Salmon With Brown Sugar Pecan Glaze Recipe

All out: 23 mins - Prep: 10 mins - Cook: 13 mins - Yield: 4 filets (4 servings)

Pecans, dark colored sugar and whiskey (which is discretionary and can be supplanted with water whenever wanted) make this salmon delectably sweet, exquisite, and nutty. Serve these delightful salmon filets with rice and new steamed vegetables or on a bed of plate of mixed greens for a super end of the week supper.

Ingredients

3 tablespoons coarsely slashed pecans

1/4 glass dull dark colored sugar

4 tablespoons margarine

1 to 2 tablespoons whiskey or water

4 salmon filets, around 6 to 8 ounces each

Salt and naturally ground pepper to taste

Olive oil

Method

1-Lightly toast the pecans in a dry skillet over medium-low warmth. At the point when the pecans are softly sautéed and fragrant, include the dark colored sugar, spread, and whiskey or water; heat until stewing. Put aside.

2-Heat stove to 425 F.

3-In an ovenproof skillet over medium-high warmth; heat the olive oil. Include salmon, skin side down, salt and pepper to taste, at that point singe for around 2 minutes. Exchange the dish to the stove and meal the filets for 5 minutes. Spoon coat over the filets and keep cooking for around 3 to 5 minutes longer, or until salmon pieces effectively with a fork.

4-Turn the stove off and let salmon remain in the broiler for 2 minutes.
